Health application — Case Study
Hello everyone and I hope you are all well, let’s intro to this case study first, starting from the needs of the user with all concerns about their health outcomes, so I can feel the user’s problems or pain points. The following is an explanation of more detailed information
Some patients find it difficult to find out their own medical record information, and they feel worried if they become victims of malpractice
And by doing some research with qualitative methods (in deep-interviews) I was able to find all the necessities that this application must have to help all users get rid of their pain points.
- help patients to find out their medical records, such as information on their history of illness, information on prescription drugs taken previously
- hospital registration feature when a patient has to be hospitalized with an agreement document that must be signed by the patient and the hospital.
In this userflow process, it is clear for the 4 main products of this app, but we have to refocus on the goal brief, namely, Medical Records and Inpatient Rooms. So High fidelity and Prototype will focus on 2 goals according to the brief.
High Fidelity of Electronic Medical Records
The main page of the application, there are 4 main products as cores in the app, therefore the layout that is created must give the user focus when first creating the app and there are several products as well as other features such as the Schedule meet with Doctor notification.
The health industry must also always be updated with current health problems, such as features for direct users to carry out vaccines or boosters
The EMR (Electronic Medical Record) page can show all the records after the medical check up is done by the Doctor. Some of the body’s unhealthy will be shown visually by site Marking
History of Illnes can also show the condition of all the body but more to the inside of the body such as blood, lungs, heart and others
History of illnes can also be recorded to be able to find out all drug consumption and body conditions, it can also be used as a schedule to do a medical check-up again
High Fidelity of Registration Inpatient
flow for inpatients with urgent conditions, along with several documents that must be done to provide smoothness in the service process
The first page of the inpat registration process, all data must be answered correctly to avoid errors and fail the registration process,
Everything must be answered except referrals because this prodcut is used when conditions are urgent
The next page is filling in the guardian data as the person in charge of the next action when the patient cannot confirm the action and other things
All documents must be approved to simplify all processes. This filling can be borne by the patient’s guardian or the patient himself
All of these documents aim to simplify all the action processes later on
When filling out the form at the beginning there is also insurance filling but only confirmation of having insurance or not having insurance, and the hospital is collaborating with several insurance companies, therefore there is a dorpdown button, not all insurance can register
on this page more detailed insurance information that must be filled in for the hospital to confirm with the insurance company to get all proper facilities at the hospital covered by the insurance company
and if you don’t have insurance, you can use general or independent patients, who are only asked to fill in a bank account number to confirm it as collateral because personal data at the bank is absolute
Digital Signature page, on this page there are 2 features to do digital signatures, first there is a casual way by way of signature in general
And the second digital signature by means of finger print to make it easier if the patient is in an emergency, it is very difficult to do the siganure as usual
This process cannot be represented by anyone because this process will confirm to the insurance company to validate all data is correct
This is the last and much awaited page to receive hospitalization at the hospital, on this page the patient may also have to wait for a short process to get confirmation from the patient’s insurance company
but if the process has not been completed maybe because the internet is buffering so the data cannot be uploaded to the insurance company server or there is a problem with the insurance company server, the patient can cancel the process
